Saber's Dogary- Puppy Boot Camp
Today I am writing from camp! Last weekend I left the office for 2 weeks to go to A Dog's Life for Puppy Boot Camp. It has been super fun! The other dog's here are really cool, and I am learning so many new things that will help me be a great Therapy Dog.
The nice lady here said I needed to stop putting on "the emergency brake" when we are walking on the leash. I don't know what that means, but she tells me I am doing a good job, so I must be doing it right. She took me for a long walk at the marina last weekend, being somewhere loud and busy is supposed to help me learn to focus in a place where there are a lot of things to distract me. I think I did great. There was a big group of ducks there that I thought about going to say hi to, but the teacher lady was talking so nice to me, it seemed like she really liked having me close to her, so I decided should stay. I am so excited to become the very first Therapy Dog for North Seattle Orthodontics, every day I am getting closer to my goal.
Well I better go, we are going to go back outside and play for a while 🐾
